The future home of the n[ui]x Development Libraries.Heres the whole scoop;
On auguest 2nd 2006 my house was robbed. Stolen were my iBook G4, an iPod and 2 thumbdrives. The iBook was my only Macintosh computer and my development box. The iPod and one of the Thumbdrives i was using to backup on a daily basis. So i’m stuck. I have no Mac to continue my work, the only burned backup i have was 3 months old at that point (hard to do as it was 4 DVDS).As soon as i can get my hands on another Macintosh, and an iPod i will continue development. Untill then, Molten Visuals will continue to host the current downloads untill Feburary 2007. At that point assuming i have the funds this stie will host the files. This site will also become the active host as soon as development continues.
Anyone thowing away a working G4 or Newer Macintosh, would be willing to part with it, and would like to support this project please contact me. Contact details can be found at Xargos.
Due to problems at Molten Visuals the blog formerlly there will now be hosted at TechnicalStressings.com.
Glenn Martin
n[ui]x Developer.
Firstly, to whom ever it was that robbed Glenn’s house,
I hope that crack you smoked or whatever else it was that you put into your system after selling Glenn’s personal property was worth the 1-5 when you eventually get caught — and you will get caught; maybe not for this time, and maybe not for next. But eventually you will. That’s just the way the game of odds works — though it seems to me that given the fact that the items you stole were allocated for the development of software for the greater good of humanity, and given that the scope of humanity crosses city, state, country, and international boundaries, my guess is that a qualified prosecutor could find ways to bring local, state, federal, and international charges, and therefore something much worse than 1-5.
Then again, maybe you’re an alright person who just so happens to have developed a drug problem — good people develop bad drug problems all the time –, and what you really need is help from someone qualified to give you that help. Not sure, I don’t know who you are, or what specific problems you might have. But here’s what I do know,
There are a lot of good people out there who do a lot of good things, and my guess is that somebody who reads this will be someone who can help replace Glenn’s losses and in doing so help with the continued development of some pretty important software: Glenn is an [the?] n[ui]x developer, the project geared towards bringing a packaged installation for MonoDevelop to the OSX platform such that developing software for the Mono platform via Macintosh will be significantly easier than it is at present time.
Anybody?
Oh, and to whomever stole Glenn’s belongings: One last thing,
Please get help. I can’t promise that if you do, the treatment will take, and your life will be better. That’s something only you can decide for yourself — and ultimately it is a personal decision, no matter what you might believe or what anyone else might tell you. But here’s what I can promise if you don’t at very least try,
A minimum of the same mentioned 1-5 when you eventually get caught for attempting to steal someone elses belongings for yet another temporary fix for what will continue to become an even bigger problem with each an every puff, snort, injection, or ingestion of whatever it is you are addicted to.
Addiction SUCKS! It ruins the lives of you and all of those in whom you love, and in whom love you in return. But it can be overcome. I promise.
Please get help.
Thanks.

To Glenn: Sorry to hear about your losses, but hopefully that can quickly be rectified and your development efforts moving forward again.
Thanks for all your hard work! Maybe it doesn’t seem like it at times, but people notice, and people know, and people appreciate all that you do.
Again, thanks!
