An interesting opportunity for independent developers for this years WWW2006 Conference:
WWW2006 Call for Developer Submissions
Danny Ayers 2006-03-14 19:00
There’s a Developers Track all week at the Fifteenth International World Wide Web Conference (Edinburgh, Scotland, Monday May 22nd - Friday May 26th). It will include presentations and demos by developers, for developers. The Wednesday sessions will be on the “Next Wave” : Semantic Web technologies, Web 2.0, mobile/pervasive, media, microformats, blogging, XHTML, Atom, new XML tech etc. etc. Proposals are welcome for anything from a 5 min lightning demo to a 30 min presentation.
Independent developers presenting on the developers track get free attendance on the day they present, or can get a full conference “passport” for 199 (nice one Jeremy! - normal price is 750). Submission deadline is the 19 March, but don’t panic, all that is needed now is a short description of what you would like to present.
Excellent! Thanks Danny!

Thank you!
Got anything suitable up your sleeve?
Hey Danny :)
I've got LOTS! Just not sure if anything will be ready in time... This will certainly help make it easier to attend, so I will definitely see what I can come up with :D
Thanks for the efforts to keep the "little guy" in mind :D
