Microsoft recently made four new DreamScenes (animated desktops) for Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. I created a short (86 seconds long) video briefly showing each of the new DreamScenes on my PC.

Richard: These DreamScene animated desktops come from Microsoft and are only available by Windows Update download for systems running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition (not sure about Enterprise Edition).
Actually, you can download the four new DreamScenes released by Micro$oft here: http://dreamscenevideo.net/blog/page/2/. Another one called Blue Waves is also available here: http://dreamscenevideo.net/blog/. Of course, if you use DeskScapes from WinCustomize (http://dream.wincustomize.com/index.aspx?c=1), you can also use the .Dream files. I don't know about most people. But this looks pretty and all. Really something that I would enjoy being incorporated into a game maybe.
But am I so much different from other people in wanting a simple crisp looking operating system that functions fairly quickly in what I want it to do and possibly enable me to do multiple things at once with ease? I would rather the horsepower being used for making this slick background and other fancy toys in Vista would be better used for performance.
