Trying to get a reality check here. Does anyone visit Microsoft’s MSDN site http://msdn.microsoft.com/ which, for me, redirects to http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx? It took about a half hour for what you see here to render with rendering errors. I’ve tried it from five PCs running four Windows versions (XP Home, XP Pro, Media Edition, and Vista Ultimate Edition) in two locations (home and office) using two different ISPs with the same results. Other Microsoft sites (e.g., Port 25, CodePlex, Technet) come up quickly and without rendering issues. I figured I should gather more data before trying to contact Microsoft. So, anyone else seeing this problem when trying to browse the MSDN web site? Thanks for any feedback or explanation you might have.

Todd - the redirection is normal behaviour, though the rendering issue you are experiencing is not. I've tested myself just now and everything seems to be worknig ok (using my home ISP).
If you are still having this issue, please ping me: alexbarn at "that company" dot com.
Alex.
redirects to http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/default.aspx for me
renders 'instantaneously' (australian for 'i was too cheap to get a wrist watch that measures in 100ths of a second')
rarely (if ever) visit the site from this puter, using FX 2.0.02
I've been having problems with MSDN timing out, but attributed that to my employer's network "upgrades" as we've also seen DNS fail and other assorted oddities
The redirects to MSDN2 are normal. MSDN2 is as the name implies the 2nd version of MSDN. It's going to include all kinds of new features such as a wiki which was just recently migrated and all sorts of things. They are slowly migrating content over so once it is completed I believe it will go back to the original msdn name.
I am still seeing this. It takes about 3-4 minutes for any page on msdn to load up
