It’s old news now that Aptana has picked up the RadRails development effort and you’d probably notices that the radrails.org domain no longer exists. The new domain is radrails.net. Aptana has already introduced nightly builds and are working towards a 0.8 release, although I couldn’t find any information on time lines.
This is all good news for Eclipse users like myself. Currently, I am getting by with the 0.7.2 and the command line but ‘chafing at the bit’ for Aptana’s first release.

I have sent in the changes I made over the weekend in RadRails code base to adopt the latest nightly build of RDT. The only show-stopper right now is to find a way for Windows users to be able to use the ruby-debugger-0.8. By default, RDT comes with a ruby-c ruby-debug-0.8 version, which requires to be compiled, and is difficult for windows users. I know there is a window version, but I gave it a try without digging it through too much, at this point, it doesn't seem to work properly.
I think once we resolve this issue, Ingo will release a nightly RadRails plugin build for Aptana/eclipse. I'm hoping to resolve this problem after work tomorrow.

I'm glad to see RadRails get some commercial support. I'm avoiding it at the moment since I've had it completely hose two different Eclipse installs so far (on different platforms, even). Something about interaction with the SVN plugin, I think, but I could never diagnose it.
FYI, radrails.org is caught up in the Register Fly fiasco. The domain record was screwed up and is being held hostage by Register Fly. It going down is an unrelated incident.
