Real voting?

Looks like O'Reilly's voting system is not state of the art (no ip and timeframe check). But obviously it looks like MySQL users are not cheating!
Interesting posting from pgsql-advocacy:

Thankfully, their website database is not PostgreSQL. We don't have to
worry about Referential Integrity catching duplicate votes...

At present it looks like there is a strong show of support for Firebird. If you have not checked it out, this might be a good time to. I work with MS SQL Server all day long. When I switch to my personal DB pursuits, Firebird seems like the easiest transition. For a great free GUI front end, IBOConsole is a natural.

Just a hint. Postgres is an older database, that became Postgres95, then PostgreSQL.
Please, could someone correct the spelling in the poll? Or is it too late once it's online? -

Hopefuly with PostgreSQL coming with some support here, O'reilly will perhaps add a PostgreSQL section along with the MySQL one ;-)
PostgreSQL has been largely ignored by O'Reilly so far.... -

It is true that we haven't aggressively pursued PostgreSQL books. However, we'd be happy to look at proposals.
