Right but that then assumes that the market is static. In many ways keeping the same choices as the previous poll is a better way of doing it then you can draw infomation from the trends. I appreciate that the numbers are not particularly significant in this case but even so....

Seems a bit of an omission in the list, it's certainly no more marginal as an IDE than say Netbeans

The pollster had to make the cut somewhere. When we did a poll on ONJava late last year, the IDE numbers came in like this:
Eclipse: 71%
None (emacs/vi/notepad): 27%
NetBeans: 19%
IntelliJ: 16%
Other: 13%
JEdit: 11%
JBuilder: 11%
WebSphere: 10%
JDeveloper: 5%
So, given previous polls on this and a sense of where the Java audience is, I think the choices were pretty well chosen.
