My only current need for a word processor involves course work in the MS. in Administration (aka Management) Software Engineering Administration through the College of Extending Learning at Central Michigan University. I would prefer using Open Office, which I used on the other home PC to create presentations for a book discussion group at church. I found Open Office a reasonable alternative to Microsoft Office for what I to do.
My only complaint -- a minor one -- with the Open Office Word Processor was that measurements were always in odd hundredths of an inch: 0.49" or 0.51" when I tried to set the any margin to 0.50".
