Marketing Distribution & Event Coordinator

The Marketing Distribution and Event Coordinator is responsible for tracking contract costs, ensuring that sales and marketing information flows smoothly, and managing the relationships with our distribution partners, thereby having a significant impact on the revenue of the Distribution business.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and three year’s business experience; or four to six year’s progressively responsible experience in some arena of publishing (e.g. bookstore retail sales, book marketing).
• Knowledge of the dynamics of publishing programs including familiarity with sales and marketing arenas.
• Knowledge of tradeshow flow and logistics is helpful but not required.
• Superior time management skills and a proven ability to work on multiple tasks and projects while still meeting deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills, both written & verbal.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ablity to communicate easily and diplomatically with a wide variety of individuals
