Oracle Financials Lead
The Oracle Financials Lead is a key member of a small, dynamic team and will work with all modules within the Oracle EBS 11.5.10 application.
In this high visibility position, we will look to you to support O’Reilly’s Oracle Financials applications from implementation of new modules or functions through on-going maintenance. You will participate in all phases of implementation projects including: gathering business and functional requirements; developing functional and technical designs; development; documentation; implementation and testing.
Responsibilities
- Functional design & requirements gathering: Provide guidance in use of EBS to improve financial management practices. Drive business analysis sessions with financial end users, gathering user requirements that will be translated into system customizations and functional system setup.
- Solution/Technical design: Hands-On system setup and modifications from the functional side, customizations, data loading, and testing to ensure system operability according to defined business rules.
- Development: Drive TAR lifecycle with Oracle, and any customizations as required by the specific business unit.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for end-user training, setup guideline manuals, CRP sessions, test scripts, and other documentation library items as needed by the business units.
- Testing: Complete unit testing of work as well as integration testing with the larger Oracle Financials package as a whole.
- Support: Single point of contact providing system support and troubleshooting as needed. Assist in the development and implementation of training content to End Users.
Minimum Requirements
- Practical, demonstrated expertise implementing and supporting Oracle Financials release 11i including hands on configuration of the applications and financial statements.
- Creation of Oracle Discoverer queries and Oracle reports.
- Detailed knowledge of the schema of the financials applications.
- In depth understanding of configuration parameters for the Finance modules (GL, A/P, A/R, Project Accounting, iPayment, iExpense, and Cash Management).
- Strong analysis expertise (Data Analysis, Design Concepts, IT Analysis/ Analytical Thinking, Process Knowledge).
- Familiarity with formal Oracle project planning and requirements documents and processes (BR100, MD050, etc).
- Familiarity with Order Management and Inventory modules.
- Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence reporting.
- Familiarity with Oracle development tools such as PL/SQL, Discoverer, OBIEE, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, FSG, and Workflow Builder.
