Video Content, Acquisitions & Development Editor

You'll partner with the Video Producer to design and produce a line of top-quality video training products for technology professionals and prosumers. You will be responsible for acquiring, adapting, and developing training content across a wide variety of technical topics. You will develop and assess financials, negotiate terms, and work closely with authors, trainers, print acquisitions and developmental editors and reviewers to craft scripts, outlines, and related media.

Minimum Requirements

• 4-year college degree in communications, English, journalism, or related field; or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• Proven talent for author/talent management and content development, including a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Strong project management and communications skills.
• Advanced knowledge of publishing industry and new media.
• Familiarity with a variety of technical topics.
• Creative, with the drive to generate new ideas and approaches.
• Script/video and adaptation experience a strong plus.
