Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We will look to you to provide thorough QA and integrated testing support for new applications and system modifications as required by business need. This includes the design and implementation of an approved QA process into the organizational software development and maintenance process.

Additionally, you will develop automated tests to ensure performance and application load capacities as well provide consultative analysis for business and information problems within the company. Your ability to work effectively and liaise between project managers, users, developers while communicating status, coordinating implementation schedules and supporting software applications and business procedures following implementation will be critical for our success.

Minimum Requirements

• BA degree and 2-4 years of related work experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Expertise in system/application analysis, quality assurance/testing techniques and business process design.
• Relevant experience in integrating QA processes in software development lifecycle as well as designing an appropriate QA environment scalable for our needs.
• Ability to construct black box and white box test scenarios that serve to verify proper functionality and audit the development process.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Java) and a demonstrated knowledge of programming constructs.
• Working knowledge of web application architecture including the specifics of client-server interactions over various protocols.
• Understanding of logical database design.
