Instructables is seeking a Director of Business Development to develop strategic partnerships and affiliate programs for its web site, www.instructables.com. This site, targeted to diverse DIY communities, is now the most popular web site for showing how to make things. This opportunity is a ground floor opportunity with a competitive salary and stock options.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will work closely with the company's CEO to identify (i) strategic partners, with whom the company can share content and passionate communities; (ii) affiliate programs that will generate revenue; and (iii) advertising and sponsorship partners who will further the growth of the company.

Minimum Requirements

• We are looking for someone who has a track record of developing such partnerships and affiliate programs with an existing e-commerce web site.
• Creative business thinking is a plus and DIY-spirited individuals preferred.
