To find latitude and longitude visit www.wikimapia.org and search for the place. If the place is popular you will most probably get there or search for a nearby popular place. Zoom in and locate the place you want to mark on the map. Now move the place to excat center of the map. Your browser's address bar will show something like this. http://wikimapia.org/#y=17991438&x=73027003&z=17&l=0&m=a So the latitude of place is 17.991438 and longitude =73.027003 I used this technique quite sucessfully for making my photo ablum integrated with google maps. Anyone can download and use it: http://ashishware.com/photoalbum.html http://ashishware.com/album.shtml (You may also want to tag the palce on wikimapia so that it comes to the center automatically next time you search for it)
