WebDAV

WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) is a set of extensions to the HTTP protocol being developed at the IETF to allow users to collaboratively edit and manage files on remote web servers. A recent trend towards running web servers everywhere (e.g., on laptops) means WebDAV can be used for file sharing and other P2P uses.
