Dan Bassett

Dan Bassett is a systems administrator for the O'Reilly School of Technology. He came to OST in 2010 after managing a compute cluster for the University of Illinois. He is the author of the Linux Systems Administration course series, as well as the architect of the infrastructure that powers it. He enjoys building GNU/Linux based system images for embedded hardware and working on his 1966 Triumph Spitfire. Dan holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois College of Engineering.
