Stephen Sorkin

Bio

Stephen is the VP Engineering responsible for the core Splunk server. His team is responsible for gathering, processing, indexing, searching, reporting and alerting data in the Splunk system. Before Splunk, Stephen was a research scientist at HP Labs in Palo Alto. Stephen has a BS in Computer Science from Stanford and a MS in Computer Science from UC Berkeley. He is the author of several peer-reviewed papers and patents.
