Marc Carmen has worked on many software development projects within academia and business settings using a wide range of technologies including C#, VB, PHP, Perl, Python, Java, Adobe AIR, and Adobe Flex. He has also designed databases with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. As a graduate student he taught a course on XML use and design. He enjoys finding new challenges and pushing the currently available technology to its limits.
He currently enjoys his position of CTO at StudioCloud International Inc. where he not only makes decisions regarding current and future technology directions but he also is able to continue working with the StudioCloud's development team to continue progress on their free business management solution which is built on Adobe AIR, Adobe Flex, and Adobe AIR for mobile. He has a BA and MA in linguistics with an emphasis in computational linguistics from Brigham Young University.
