Alan Shaw
Alan Shaw was programming before you were born. He has been building applications in
the research, business, and creative areas since the days when it was thrilling to be able to link Fortran and C modules together into one program. He chucked it all to concentrate on photography around 1999, but that eventually caused him to discover Flash. He has always been a geometry geek and his posts at nodename.com often revolve around that. He's been
doing his best to straddle the Flash game/animation ('cause that's where the math is) and Flex RIA ('cause that's where the architecture is) worlds. He also loves languages and has spent decades getting up to a "70 percent" level in Mandarin.
Trained skill: リファクタ RIFAK'TA.
