He chucked it all to concentrate on photography around 1999, but that eventually caused him to discover Flash. He's been doing his best to straddle the Flash game/animation ('cause that's where the math is) and Flex RIA ('cause that's where the architecture is) worlds. He also loves languages and has spent decades getting up to a "70 percent" level in Mandarin.
