Matt Aimonetti, based in San Diego, California, is a senior research and development engineer at LivingSocial. Prior to joining LivingSocial, Matt worked on video game development at Sony PlayStation; and before that he worked with startups, Fortune 100 companies, and traditional companies. There, he had the opportunity to be involved with captivating projects in different domain spaces from biotech to comics, advertising, social networks, e-learning, and more. Matt joined the MacRuby team in 2008 and was active in the Ruby community for many years prior to that. He developed or contributed to a lot of OSS libraries and frameworks (Merb, Rails, and many more) and spoke at user groups and conferences in the United States and abroad.
