Michael Shapiro

Bio

Michael Shapiro is travel producer for CNET's Snap! Online. Michael has worked as a journalist and travel writer since 1984. In 1994, he joined the staff of O'Reilly Media, Inc.'s pioneering online publication Global Network Navigator (GNN). Michael's travel features often appear in the San Francisco Examiner, and he also writes about travel and the Net for print magazines. In his spare time, Michael leads white-water rafting adventures and sea kayak trips for disabled people.
