Dan Thomas (@dannyt) has been involved with Rich Internet Applications since learning Flash 4 when working for a large e-learning provider at the tender age of 17. Ever since he has been hooked on web and software technologies and worked with many different platforms across many of the major stacks. In 2003 Dan established Moov2 Ltd a web and RIA development agency based in Bournemouth on the south coast of the UK. Having worked on many varying projects, Dan maintains an agnostic perspective and an open interest in new technologies. As such the process of determining and picking the right technology for the job is of particular interest to Dan and an interesting subject in RIA development with the plethora of client-side, server-side and database technologies available.
