Keir Thomas
Keir Thomas is an award-winning author who has been writing about operating systems and computer hardware for almost two decades. Formerly a computer magazine journalist and editor, working on titles such as PC Utilities and PC Extreme, he now writes about Apple Mac and Ubuntu Linux. In addition to Mac Kung Fu, his other book titles include Ubuntu Pocket Guide and Reference, Ubuntu Kung Fu, and Beginning Ubuntu Linux (various editions).

He works as a full-time author and lives on the side of a mountain in the United Kingdom. His hobbies include hiking, cycling and vegetable gardening.
