Tracey Pilone is a freelance technical writer who supports mission planning and RF analysis software for Naval Research Labs. Before working as a writer, she spent several years working in and around the Washington DC area for two of ENR's (Engineering News Record) top 20 contractors as a construction manager in commercial construction. She is the co-author of Head First Algebra and Head First iPhone Development. She has a Civil Engineering degree from Virginia Tech, a Masters of Education from the University of Virginia, and holds a Professional Engineer's License in Virginia.
