Bio

Scott Kersnar is a freelance writer at work on a variety of projects at any one time. He works in his home office in Guerneville, California, as a correspondent for the National Mortgage News. Scott holds a California real estate broker's license and is credentialed to teach real estate basics at the junior college level. He has been active in realtor affairs at the county level and has written a prize-winning disaster preparedness brochure for Hernandez Realty, where he formerly worked as a broker associate. In addition to writing, real estate, and teaching, Scott has a varied background in journalism and newspaper advertising sales and has been editor and co-owner of a community weekly. Scott and his wife Darlene enjoy theater, hiking, and gardening. They have five children and three grandchildren. Scott holds a master's degree in English literature from Stanford University.
