Dean Petrich grew up in Minneapolis, MN, but now lives in sunny Pasadena, CA. He received degrees in physics from MIT (B.S. '89) and Princeton (Ph.D. '94) and, after post-doctoral work at CalTech, is now putting his physics skills to good use in the equity research group of First Quadrant, a money management firm. In his spare time, he likes to read, hike, and travel.
