Bio

Nelly Yusupova is the CTO of Webgrrls International/Cybergrrl Inc. She oversees and implements the technical strategy for The Cybergrrl Network of women's online communities that is comprised of Cybergrrl.com, Webgrrls.com, and Femina.com. She organizes and manages team projects ensuring they run smoothly. The Webgrrls International and Cybergrrl mission is: to empower women through promoting the use of technology in both their personal and professional lives. In December 2004, Nelly assumed the reins of the New York City Webgrrls chapter leader. NYC chapter is the first and largest chapter of the 100 chapters that make up Webgrrls International.

Nelly is also the founder of Digitalwoman.com, a website development and Internet consultant practice started in March, 2004.

Prior to joining Cybergrrl, Inc., Ms. Yusupova was a programmer and Web developer with PaineWebber responsible for upgrading their brokerage application and systems support. Ms. Yusupova earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Queens College of the City University of New York and is working towards a master's degree in management information systems. Her programming skill set includes: PHP, MySQL, Java, ASP, JSP, Oracle, Perl/CGI, HTML, JavaScript, Unix scripting, Telnet, FTP, and UNIX.

As featured in the Wall Street Journal, Nelly Yusupova is a woman on the IT fast track. She has been a featured tech expert on INC Magazineís Website inc.com and has appeared as a guest expert on the NBC Today Show, She is frequently asked to speak to groups about careers in technology, building community and the power of networking. She teaches classes and also writes articles for Webgrrls.com and Cybergrrl.com.

Nelly Yusupova now resides in New York City.
