Dawn Applegate is the Conferences Publicist for O'Reilly Media, Inc. A graduate of UC San Diego, Dawn has over 20 years experience working in the high-tech industry. A native of Sonoma County, Ms. Applegate has spent the majority of her life in the Bay Area working for firms such as J. Walter Thompson, Sun Microsystems and Hi-Tech PR. Her role with O'Reilly includes handling all media inquiries, passes, and details at O'Reilly Conferences as well as writing and distributing press releases for conference related news. Dawn also manages the news and information blogs for O'Reilly Conferences.
