Kevin Jameson

Bio

Kevin Jameson is a software engineer whose main focus since 1982 has been to improve the quality and productivity of the software development process. His approach to the problem is very pragmatic: Keep trying out new productivity ideas until you find some that work. At various times in his several careers, Kevin has studied electronics (diploma in industrial electronic technology, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology), chemical physics (BSc, general studies, University of Calgary), and computer science (MSc, University of Calgary). Kevin currently splits his time between consulting, research, and learning how to play the violin; and, as often as possible, he tries to write more code for his small network of Suns and PCs. Then, he waits with anticipation for the morning productivity and quality report of the nightly coding style and metrics daemon.
