Johannes Ernst
Johannes Ernst is an electrical engineer by training, software developer by interest, and entrepreneur by choice. He's best known for his invention of URL-based identity, calling it Light-Weight Identity (LID), which is one of the roots of the OpenID movement. He also co-founded OSIS, the multi-vendor initiative to build the Open-Source Identity System. His company, NetMesh, puts these technologies to use by enabling companies to interact with their users on the users' terms, starting with the user-centric identity layer. His personal blog (and OpenID) is at http://netmesh.info/jernst.
