Elanor McKesson is a production editor for O'Reilly Media's Missing Manual series. A graduate of St. John's College, she studied the Classics of every subject, from Homer to Faulkner, Euclid to Einstein, Kant to Freud, Lavoisier to Millikan. Nellie (as she is known among friends) spent a year in Blois, France, and was much influenced by her stay. She enjoys making art and crafts and writing in her spare time, and lately has added web design to her artistic wanderings. She now lives in Cambridge, MA.
