Biography

Charlie Miller has over ten years of experience providing technology strategy, integration, support, and training to companies in the design and broadcast industries. He has worked with designers, video editors, and photographers, helping them integrate new technologies into their creative workflows and overcome technical obstacles.

Charlie is currently a senior consultant at Control Group, a technology services firm based in New York. He has consulted on broadcast integration projects at World Wrestling Entertainment and WNET/Thirteen, and has led trainings on Mac OS X, Adobe Creative Suite, Aperture, and Final Cut Studio.

Charlie is an Apple Certified Trainer for both Pro Applications and IT, an Adobe Certified Instructor, and served as technical editor for official training guides from Apple: Apple Training Series: iLife ’08 and Apple Pro Training Series: Aperture 2.

Final Cut Server: An Introductory Overview
Publish Date: Aug. 28, 2008Earlier this year Apple shipped Final Cut Server, its media asset management and workflow automation solution. Unlike Final Cut Pro and the other creative applications bundled in Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Server is not a content creation application.
