Jürgen Schweizer is president of Cultured Code, a small software company he founded in 2004. Its first product is the award-winning web design tool Xyle scope. In his former life Jürgen performed research and taught mathematics at the University of Tübingen, Germany where he received his PhD in 1997.
Jürgen believes that every system that captures truth about the world necessarily has a blind spot, and that this lies at the basis of our humanity and life in general. Or, as Leonard Cohen has put it much more poetically: "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in".
