Scaling Dynamic Websites with Apache Modules
Publish Date: Sep. 28, 2006Yogesh Makwana and Syvum Technologies had a problem: their application, hosted on a shared server, used too much CPU time and had grown unresponsive. Moving to a virtual private server and using the appropriate Apache modules and architecture brought their costs and response times and load averages under control. This case study explores their technique.
