Kev Jackson is a software developer with a fair amount of experience with Java. He has worked in a variety of companies on a wide variety of projects and products. He has programmed primarily in Java, although he also has experience programming in dynamic languages (Perl, Python & Ruby). He's currently learning Lisp, Scheme and Haskell, and once learnt (then forgot the majority of) Eiffel.
Recently Kev has been involved in open source development, where he has contributed mainly to Apache Ant, and slightly to AspectJ, Rails, Ruby and Asterisk. Kev is a committer on the Apache Ant project.
He has a bachelors degree from The University of Manchester (UK), and is a Java certified programmer. As an English football fan, Kev was extremely disappointed with the performance of the England team at the world cup.
