Michael Douma is an expert in user interface design and web-based interactive education.
He believes that traditional ways of finding information are often useless or inappropriate for information published on the Web. He says, "finding new information should be a fun, exploratory journey rather than a cumbersome chore." He is the Executive Director of the Institute for Dynamic Educational Advancement (IDEA), which designs and implements information systems that use technology to facilitate and broaden the learning process.
