Brian Murray is a system administrator at the Open Source Development Labs where his responsibilities include teaching and assisting new Linux users. He has been deep into Linux and open source software since 1999, which is coincidentally the year he was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. In his spare time Brian enjoys extending the capabilities of devices including his DVD recorder, XBox, iPod, cell phones and PSP.

Brian lives in Beaverton, Oregon with his wife Sarah and their twin boys, Nicholas and Brandon, who both enjoy playing KBattleship.
