Bio

Scott Brumbaugh has worked professionally as a software/systems engineer since 1987. He was a member of the technical staff at the Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, California, for ten years, where he specialized in VMS/Unix programming in support of various remote sensing applications.

He has also worked at the California Institute of Technology as a research engineer, providing Unix expertise to its radio astronomy program. Most recently he has worked as a consultant for Abbott Laboratories, where he has been responsible for porting its medical instrumentation software to the Linux operating system.

Scott has a BSEE from California State University at Long Beach.
