Tom Birch is a graduate of Trinity Western University in British Columbia, Canada. He has worked in the BC forest industry since 1991. He is currently a User Support Specialist with Forsite Consultants Ltd., where he focuses on data management and client support.

His database experience began with Ingres in the early 1990s. From there he shifted his attention to Oracle and Microsoft databases. Tom has taken a lead role in various data migrations from legacy programs into integrated Oracle systems.
