Jerry Cooperstein is a senior consultant and Linux training specialist at Axian Inc., in Beaverton Oregon, and lives in Corvallis, Oregon.
He has a PhD in theoretical nuclear physics and has been developing software on many different platforms since the 1970's. After spending 15 years doing research in nuclear astrophysics, he went to work for Axian in 1994 and has been developing for Linux ever since.
He is the primary author and maintainer of several of the Red Hat Linux Developer's courses, Device Drivers, Kernel Internals, and Programming Essentials.
Jerry was one of the technical reviewers for Rubini and Corbett's, Linux Device Drivers (2nd Edition), and Bovet and Cesati's, Understanding the Linux Kernel, (2nd Edition), both pubished by O'Reilly Inc.
