One of my favorite points in the conversation with Mikkel was about the Clarity slider in ACR 4. This adjustment is also available in Lightroom. Mikkel says that one of its magic attributes is Unsharp Mask, which works great on many images. Mikkel cautions that using Unsharp Mask is like adding salt while cooking. A little is good; too much can ruin the meal.
