• Downloading selective images from IPHOTO

  I have Aperture and i have iphoto 6.06 and, I can;t seem to import my albums or pictures that i created in iphoto . . It does recognize folders that are not in iphoto and lets me download those fine. Is there something i'm doing wrong? Is there a setting that i need the click on.
  I don't want to download the entire IPHOTO collection. Just certain ones.
