by Derrick StoryNetwork Newsletter for 07/08/2003
Dear Readers,
There's so much happening at the O'Reilly Open Source Convention this week in Portland, Oregon. Where can you find the latest news, announcements, and photos from the show?
We've designed a special OSCON coverage page located at this address:
http://www.oreillynet.com/oscon2003/
It lists press coverage and weblogs down the left column, with feature articles and photos occupying the right side. It is literally your one-stop browsing location for this year's open source gathering.
Monday and Tuesday have been dedicated to tutorials, but on Wednesday morning Tim O'Reilly kicks things off with his keynote address, "The Open Source Paradigm Shift." Tim's talk will be followed by Paul Buck, Director of Eclipse Development at IBM. Other notable keynoters include Stormy Peters from Hewlett-Packard, Mitchell Kapor from the Open Source Applications Foundation, Miguel de Icaza from Ximian, and well-known author George Dyson.
