Keeping Up with .NET

by Derrick Story
Network Newsletter for 11/12/2002

Dear Reader,

In case you missed the announcement back in October, our .NET DevCenter became a full-fledged domain Web site: ONDotnet.com.

(As an aside, if you have wondered about the "ON" moniker, it stands for "O'Reilly Network" and works doubly as the preposition "on," as in on target, on the mark, and so forth.)

Our new .NET editor, Shawn Wildermuth, is a working software engineer who's been building Microsoft-related solutions for over 17 years. He is also the author of "Pragmatic ADO.NET," and he runs the http://ADOGuy.com Web site. Shawn wants ONDotnet.com to become the watering hole for the .NET community.

To subscribe to the O'Reilly Network newsletter (or other newsletters), visit https://epoch.oreilly.com/account/default.orm and select the newsletters you wish to receive in your user profile (you'll need to log in with your existing O'Reilly Network account -- if you don't yet have an account, you'll need to create one).

To change your newsletter subscription options, please visit https://epoch.oreilly.com/account/default.orm and click the"Manage My Newsletters" link. For assistance, send email to

If you go over to the site, you'll see a number of brand new articles, ongoing Weblogs, and a handy news feed that keeps a steady flow of .NET information streaming onto the page.

ONDotnet is an easy way to keep up with this hot technology area. I hope you have a chance to stop by and take a peek.

Until next time,

Derrick
