Portland-area hacker Eric Wilhelm recently received a generous $10,000 grant from UK-based Xara to continue to develop a converter between multiple vector graphics formats. Eric’s passionate about this and has worked on it anyway, but major credits to Xara for recognizing and promoting the idea that connectivity and interoperability drives competition and invention.
