Carbon Emacs Package: Emacs Editor on a Mac without X11

If you’ve wanted to try Emacs on a Mac but didn’t want to install X11, you might want to check out the Carbon Emacs Package port by Seiji Zenitani. The latest release came out on November 6.

I don't know if it's hit your blog or not (search didn't bring it up), but this is my preferred emacs on OSX:

It's Cocoa, not Carbon, and is closer in behavior to the (canonical) emacs I use every day on my linux machine at work.
There's also Aquamacs, which I like:

One nice thing about Aquamacs is that I can continue to use Mac shortcuts like Command-S in addition to standard emacs keybindings too. Considering how much Mac shortcuts are ingrained into my muscle memory (almost as much as Emacs shortcuts), it's nice to use whatever comes out of my fingers.
