In case you haven’t seen it: The Joy of Tech’s “The real reasons Mac OS X Leopard is late…”
I like the “Someone keeps pressing the Time Machine button..:” reason best.

That is my favorite as well, although the look on Steve's face at the developers playing with the iPhone is priceless! :-)
Actually, technically Leopard isn't going to be late. You'll just have to buy an iPhone to get it in June. :D

And you won't be able to load any programs on it. But other than that...
Vista is rubbish. Microsoft gave up on "pioneering" the computer world and simply started copying the rest. That's why things developed on Macs get released on Vista a year or 2 later. The MS "gadgets" is a notable copy - Mac uses widgets - I know! we'll use "gadgets" and no-one will notice that we have just changed the name... Let's play on some more games and let our OS arrive 5 years after the last...

Uh - don't want to dissappoint you, but the best new stuff I've seen in the last 20 years in the computer business I saw in the last couple of weeks - coming from Microsoft: Surface and Photosynth. Both are computing concepts with tremendous potential at finally changing the way we work with computers to the better. And it is largely unrelated to Vista.
I am really curious what - if anything - Apple has to put up against that.
