Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) is now shipping their HomeDock Deluxe, an iPod dock with a TV GUI. The GUI lets you select, play and navigate through your iPod song collection using your TV screen and their remote control. At $149.99, it’s a pretty hefty pricetag for a fairly simple interface–although I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on one, just to give it a spin.

Well, there's a lot between "wouldn't mind getting my hands on one to give it a spin" and paying 149 USD for a Dock-and-remote. Btw.: Doesn't a video iPod which you connect to a TV give you some kind of interface on the TV set? And if not: Wouldn't the _next_ version of the iPod? ;)
Ah! You notice the suble use of the "I would never pay USD149 for this, but I sure wouldn't mind playing with a freebie".
Good catch. :)
What I'd love to see on a TV interface (ie: this, freevo, mythTV, X-Box, whatever) is something like what CoverFlow offers.
Should nothing like that appear, though, perhaps that's what I'll retire my iBook G3 to do once I upgrade to a 2nd-gen MacBook Pro (well, that's the plan anyways).
FYI. Griffin has a similar product coming out soon (don't know exactly when) called the TuneCenter. It has similar features for $99, and you can pick one up with optional WiFi to stream internet radio for $129.
it looks cool i would like to have one.
