My 4GB iPod nano is nearly at capacity. The 5G iPod w/video is nice. But, I’d like a bigger screen. So Apple, could you please build an iPod DS (dual screen) in a clam shell form factor to protect the larger screen?

Here’s what I’d like to see: The 5.5G iPod should have a clamshell form factor. When closed, it looks more or less like the current iPod but with a smaller grayscale screen with basic audio playback information on the top of the vertical orientation and the usual scrollwheel on the bottom. When you open up the clamshell in landscape orientation, there will be a color LCD that takes up the full height and width of the top part of the shell for video and photos (as well as audio info, of course) and the audio/video controls on the bottom part of the clamshell. The clamshell design would also help protect the costlier, larger color LCD used for photo and video display. While you’re at it, please add WiFi for IPTV viewing and an RSS feed reader.

Thanks! Todd

P.S. While you are at it, please deliver the Mac mini media center with TV tuner for under $800. :-)
