ROM Update for Treo 650 Requires OS-X Users to Manually Delete 44 Files?

PalmOne has released a ROM update (v 1.13) for the Treo 650 (unlocked GSM). Under the "Installation: Mac" section, here is step number 14:

What?! How much of an effort would it take to write a simple script or utility that would do this on the user's behalf? People shouldn't have to manually delete 44 files in order to complete an upgrade. This step seems applicable to those who use Palm Desktop, however. Since I use Missing Sync, I could happily skip this step - I just had to make sure my "Backup" conduit was NOT set to "Restore from backup".
